Man killed in fall from roof

A POST-MORTEM examination was being carried out yesterday at Kerry General Hospital, Tralee, on the body of a man in his 60s who died after falling from the roof of his house.

Christy Coffey, of Graune, Beaufort, Killarney, Co Kerry, was carrying out repairs to a chimney when he slipped and fell, late on Thursday afternoon.

The late Mr Coffey was understood to have been repairing a chimney cowl.
