Search on for taxi driver

A MAJOR search is continuing for a missing taxi driver last seen in the Blackrock area of Cork last Friday.

The dark coloured Toyota Avensis taxi of Billy O’Halloran was located near Blackrock village last Friday and the Garda are now extremely concerned for his safety.

Yesterday afternoon, the Garda in Blackrock requested the assistance of the Irish Coastguard in the search and an aerial sweep of Blackrock and the Cork Harbour area was carried out by the Irish Coastguard helicopter without success.
