A CAMPAIGN group has been formed to press Limerick County Council to carry out road works on a blackspot which has claimed five lives in the past three months.

The group, headed by Siobhán Kelly, wants the council to realign a stretch of the N21 between Newcastle West and Abbeyfeale.

Among those killed in a stretch near Barnagh were three men from Newcastle West who were returning home from the Listowel races in a hackney.
