‘Training’ grenade found in car

TWO men in their 20s were arrested in Waterford yesterday afternoon after a “training” grenade was found in a car.

The device was discovered by gardaí who stopped the car on the Cork Road at Butlerstown.

According to a Defence Forces spokesman, it did not have explosives in the device itself.
