Body found

THE body of a woman, for whom a massive search was launched on Thursday, was discovered in a wooded area in south east Clare early yesterday.

The 50-year-old, who was last seen at about midday on Thursday, was reported missing after relatives expressed concern for her wellbeing. The woman’s body was found about two kilometres from O’Briens bridge by people involved in the search.
