Trade plan to boost exports by a third

A NEW five year trade initiative being launched today is aimed at boosting the export of Irish products by a third.

The jobs creation push runs right across Government departments and intends to present a more unified approach to enhancing trade and employment.

Tourism will feature heavily in the initiative, which aims to bring more foreign currency into the country.
