Ex-soccer star Gary Kelly on assault charges

FORMER Ireland international soccer player Gary Kelly appeared before Drogheda District Court yesterday to face charges of trespass with intent to commit criminal damage.

He was one of four men who appeared before the court to face charges related to an incident in the town earlier this year.

All offences against the four are alleged to have taken place at Halpins Terrace, Drogheda, and all but one is said to have taken place on March 28.
