Man’s body found with head injuries

GARDAÍ will today review the results of a postmortem on the body of a 62-year-old Cork man before deciding whether to launch a murder investigation.

The remains of local taxi-driver Michael Healy were discovered shortly before 10am yesterday morning. He was found by his brother at his apartment at 3 Rockspring Terrace in St Luke’s in Cork city.

It is understood Mr Healy had suffered head injuries.
