GlaxoSmithKline jobs update

WORKERS at the GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) plant in Currabinny, Co Cork, will know in the next couple of weeks if they are to lose their jobs as part of a company review.

A spokeswoman said the review was taking place at its manufacturing plant in Currabinny, where 425 people are employed.

She stressed the review was not taking place at the company’s other operations in Dungarvan, Co Waterford and Dublin.
