FIANNA FÁIL backbenchers will have a chance to vent their anger over the direction and low poll ratings of the party at its annual think-in which gets under way in Galway today.

The two-day parliamentary party meeting will focus on job creation, the Government’s banking strategy and the availability of credit to small businesses and will be addressed by NAMA chairman Frank Daly.

It will be the first chance for disgruntled backbenchers to meet face-to -face with ministers and Taoiseach Brian Cowen following the summer break.
