Race named in Kyne’s memory

GALWAY apprentice jockey Jamie Kyne, who died in a fire started deliberately in Yorkshire a year ago, will be remembered this afternoon at Galway Races with a race in his honour.

A remembrance service for Jamie and fellow apprentice Jan Wilson, who also died in the fire, will be held next weekend in Malton, Yorkshire.
