LRC proposals mayhalt Aer Lingus action

THE Labour Relations Commission is expected to make a recommendation within 48 hours that could avert industrial action by Aer Lingus cabin crew.

Both the airline management and IMPACT trade union, which represents the cabin crew, held behind-the-scenes meetings with the LRC at the end of last week.

Based on those discussions it is understood the LRC is compiling a document which seeks to address the issue at the heart of the dispute – rostering.
