Celebrity chef togs out for Thomond cookery event

THOMOND PARK will host its first live cooking demonstration next month when rising young rugby stars line out with a renowned chef.

“An Evening with Richard Corrigan” takes place at the historic sporting venue on September 16 offering people the opportunity to experience first hand the work of the celebrity chef.

“I love the alchemy that surrounds Thomond Park; it is honest and pure, just like my cooking, I’m really looking forward to a great night in Limerick,” Corrigan said.

“An evening of inspirational recipes, good food and wine, elegance style and fun, I mean come on, that’s what it should all be about,” said the celebrity chef.

“Food matters, cooking for family and friends is as important to me as sending any morsel out to customers from my kitchen in Mayfair,” he continued.

Munster Rugby Academy members Kieran Essex, Mike Sherry and Conor Murray will join Corrigan for the live cooking demonstration serving up recipes that are in keeping with the nutritional advice they have learned as part of their academy training.
