Man carrying gun held in Limerick

A MAN in his late 30s was last night being held by gardaí in Limerick after being found carrying a gun earlier in the day.

Gardaí from Roxboro Road intercepted the man at around 9am as he walked around Ballinacurra Weston.

On searching him they discovered he was carrying a full-length shotgun under an overcoat he was wearing.
