Singing politician launches charity CD

A PRE-ELECTION promise has been fulfilled by a singing county councillor who has launched a CD to raise money for two sick children.

Cllr Brendan Leahy, who is based in Skibbereen, Co Cork has launched ‘An Island In Time’ to raise funds for Daniel Crowley and Stephen Calnan.

Cllr Leahy, who is a paramedic with the HSE said while he was out canvassing one of the boy’s fathers asked if he would help them with the fundraising.
