Stars in the hood to celebrate fresh beginning

IT’S been a summer of Pink and Bob Dylan at Thomond Park. But now, top rappers are on their way to Moyross for a big concert on August 8.

Called Stars in the Hood, the day-long concert is being organised by a community group who aims to give the regenerated estate a new image.

One of those behind the concert, Jamie Daly, said: “This is going to be a clean, positive rapping event. We’ll have huge talent competing against one another, dancing and rapping all day.”
