THE Samaritans have urged people affected by the Inishowen crash tragedy to seek help to deal with the emotional aftermath.

Suzanne Costello, the organisation’s national director, said the tragedy touched not only those directly bereaved by it but many others in the community as well as people further afield for whom it was bringing up painful memories of their own loss.

“Something like this can have an absolutely devastating effect for the county and the wider country,” she said. “People have to really think about the importance of talking about their feelings and articulating what they are feeling at his time.”
