Meteor, O2 customers face 80% price hike for prepay service

MOBILE phone users who subscribe to a prepay service with Meteor and O2 face price hikes of almost 80%.

Mobile phone company Meteor is to hike its current call set up charge from five cent to nine cent for all chargeable voice and video domestic calls.

The hike applies to all customers on Meteor’s Pay As You Go prepaid tariff and will take effect on August 12.
