Father-of-one gunned down at place of work

A YOUNG father-of-one, who was an associate of a north Dublin drugs gang, was gunned down at his workplace yesterday afternoon in what is being investigated as a personal dispute.

The 34-year-old animal feed warehouse employee was killed when a lone masked gunman shot him several times in the torso and head at a Finglas industrial estate.

Named locally as Colm Owens, the worker at Cornstore in the Grove Industrial Estate was shot at least five times.
