A CONTROVERSIAL Cork City Council vote on the future of Páirc Uí Chaoimh does not have any legal implications for councillors yet, the city manager has said.

Joe Gavin was responding to questions from Independent Cllr Chris O’Leary who raised concerns that some councillors could face legal action following the vote last month.

Seventeen councillors voted in favour of a proposal to “facilitate in principle” GAA plans to expand the stadium and develop a centre of excellence nearby.
