Woman arrested over five-figure sum stolen from employer

GARDAÍ have arrested and questioned a women following an allegation she was involved in the theft of a “five-figure sum” from a Cork business premises.

The owners of the premises in the Midleton area made a complaint to Gardaí after finding the money had gone missing.

The woman, who is understood to have been employed in the business, subsequently left the area.
