APPLE still hasn’t given a date to Irish mobile phone companies for the release of the iPhone 4G.

However, as is standard Apple practice, it will be at least a number of weeks before it was sent to smaller markets.

Spokesmen for O2 and Vodafone said they have no idea yet how they will price the new model. The 4G is a slimmer version of its predecessor with improved camera, video, battery and processor.
