Two quizzed in €190k drug haul

TWO men were being questioned yesterday over the seizure of drugs with a street value of up to €190,000.

The first suspect was arrested when cannabis worth €20,000 was discovered in a house in Kilmallock, Co Limerick, on Thursday evening.

A car was later stopped as part of a follow-up search in the area and a quantity of cocaine and herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €170,000 was found. A second man was arrested.
