Boy airlifted

AN eleven-year-old boy holidaying in Ireland from Chicago with his family was airlifted to Mayo General Hospital in Castlebar last evening after falling near the summit of Croagh Patrick.

The boy was with a family group when he tumbled on the final approach to the mountain.
