Charge of child abduction

A 30-YEAR-OLD woman and a 22-year-old man are due in court in Armagh later today charged with child abduction.

The two are charged over the abduction of a 17-month-old baby girl in the Banbridge area on Monday.

Sophie Anderson was found in a caravan park in Dumfries in Scotland yesterday.

She had been in the care of foster parents in Banbridge for more than a year.
