FG move will see day-long Cowen debate

FINE GAEL’S no-confidence motion is just 12 words long.

But it will trigger an all-day debate next Tuesday as the Government lines up to defend Mr Cowen and the opposition attack him.

The motion reads: “That Dáil Éireann has no confidence in An Taoiseach, Deputy Brian Cowen.”
