A WOMAN who was moments away from losing her baby due to the miscarriage misdiagnosis scandal has warned she will never receive justice if the HSE insists on confining its nationwide review to the last five years.

Speaking to the Irish Examiner after the major State investigation was confirmed, Gina McDonald said the true scale of the crisis will not be known unless the HSE inquiry is widened.

In late 1995 – a full decade outside of the HSE review – Gina, who was then 33, was brought into the National Maternity Hospital (NMH) at Holles Street in Dublin.
