THE State Examinations Commission has strengthened procedures to reduce the risk of mistakes being made in the distribution of exam papers by supervisors.

The changes follow last year’s debacle with English Paper Two when an exam supervisor handed the paper to some students a day before the exam.

The SEC says new safeguards include exam superintendents formally cross-checking each other’s validation procedures.
