Pony killed with Stanley knife

ANIMAL cruelty officers in Dublin have described the horrific killing of a young pony with a Stanley knife as “one of the most horrendous animal crime scenes” that they have ever attended. They expressed concern for the mental state of the person who attacked the animal.

The pony had its throat slashed with a Stanley knife and was then left to bleed to death at a field at Ongar, Clonsilla.

Dublin Society for the Prevention of Cruelty (DSPCA) Inspector Tony McGovern, Dublin SPCA said it was “deeply worrying display of violence”
