Wanted: Limerick band to play at Dylan concert in Thomond

YOUNG up and coming Limerick rock bands are being offered the chance of getting the gig of a lifetime.

As part of the warm-up acts for the big Bob Dylan concert at Thomond Park, on July 4, the Dylan management team have asked that a young Limerick rock band should share in the star-studded bill.

Mick Dolan, owner of the Dolans Warehouse venue in Limerick is organising the rock band selection.

He said: “Any band who wants to try and get this fantastic spot must send a demo to me by the end of this month.”
