HE’S a chip off the old butcher’s block.

Jack Sheehan, 11, is the seventh generation involved in the family business – Sheehan’s Butchers – one of the country’s oldest family butcher firms.

The young lad strapped on his apron and displayed a fine side of beef as his family opened its newest store in Cork city.
