GARDAÍ hope to bring charges against a number of top criminals involved in a violent gang feud in west Dublin following a gun and drug seizure.

A team of detectives seized a firearm, two bullet-proof vests, heroin worth €4,200 and drug paraphernalia from the house on Grange View Road, in the Bawnogue area of Clondalkin late on Sunday night.

The arrests were carried out by the Clondalkin Drugs Unit, assisted by the District Detective Unit and members from Operations Anvil, a dedicated initiative targeting gangland.
