THE Government has indicated it has nothing to fear from the publication of what is expected to be a damning report on the troubled Dublin Docklands Development Authority (DDDA).

Taoiseach Brian Cowen, who signed off on the state agency’s borrowing when he was Finance Minister, will come under pressure to explain the status of the report when the opposition question him in the Dáil today.

But he said yesterday that the report deals with internal governance issues within the DDDA.
