Images of drunk students aim to promote awareness

IMAGES of drunk students sprawled on the ground will be pasted to the floors of college toilets this week as part of a hard-hitting campaign on the dangers of alcohol.

The images are designed to warn third level students enjoying RAG Week events of how their night could end if they abuse alcohol.

Five Irish colleges — University College Dublin, Cork Institute of Technology, National University of Ireland Galway, Dublin City University and the University of Limerick — which are holding RAG Week charity events this week will be targeted in the drinkaware.ie campaign, based on an initiative in Britain last year.
