Man quizzed after sex assault

A MAN was being questioned last night in Galway in connection with a sexual assault in the city early yesterday.

A 19-year-old woman who had been out socialising on Thursday night was beaten and sexually assaulted for three hours after she got into a car with a man at Woodquay in the city centre.
