Limerick ‘substantially better value’ than other cities in terms of parking

MULTI-STOREY car parks in Limerick cost less than those in Cork and Galway, according to a survey carried out by the Limerick Chamber of Commerce.

Limerick ‘substantially better value’ than other cities in terms of parking

Órlaith McMahon, policy and research officer with the chamber said: “We found that the average cost for the first hour to park in a multi-storey car park in Limerick City is 34% less than parking in Cork city and 23% less than the cost of parking in Galway city.”

The findings are based on data complied on January 26 on a random sample of seven city centre car parks in each city.
