Innishannon boil notice lifted

A BOIL water notice was lifted from several parts of Co Cork after test results on water samples from the Innishannon Water Supply Scheme were clear.

Cork County Council has lifted the boil notice on this scheme, which supplies Rigsdale, Faranhow, Crossbarry, Upton, Rising Sun, Dunderrow, Summercove and Kinsale.

However, a boil notice remains in place on the Ballineen, Clondrohid and Inchigeela water schemes.
