Project offers virtual look at the future

IT is not quite the deck on the Starship Enterprise, but the future is on display in Dublin for the next week, from the virtual home to mirrors that help monitor your health.

Various projects are exhibited at the Best in Show event in Dublin’s Digital Hub near the St James’s Gate brewery, showcasing the work of digital media graduates.

For those who find it hard to take their medicine, the Cura device could be the answer. A watch-like device that straps onto the wrist, it does the usual time-telling business but also utilises micro-needle technology to administer medication through the skin.
