Dita reveals Vodafone 360
The dancer, once married to former cult rock musician Marilyn Manson, had come to Ireland to launch a new Vodafone product, not to strip off as part of her burlesque routine.
And the soft-spoken, 36-year-old style icon kept herself under wraps in a siren red Moschino dress and matching Christian Louboutin stiletto shoes.
Called Vodafone 360, the new networking service allows all of a customer’s contacts from webmail, chat, instant messaging and content sharing services to be brought together in one place.
The service is automatically backed up and synchronised, regularly and wirelessly between the mobile and computer.
All contacts, emails, photos and conversation history or setting changes made at home or on the move are saved, keeping all the content up to date.
Dita, who recently launched her latest line for Wonderbra, had no doubt why Vodafone chose her to launch their new product.
“It’s is because I look good in red. That’s why they asked me,” said Dita.
Dita also said she was “obsessed” with her mobile phone. “I am big on Twitter,” she said, laughing.
Vodafone Ireland’s Chris Handley, said users of the new product created a central account and then linked it with all their digital communications including their contacts.
