Donegal scoops top Good Food award

THE top accolade in this year’s Good Food Ireland Awards has gone to Rathmullen House in Co Donegal.

The awards were presented during a lunchtime “artisan picnic” which served up locally made produce supplied by many of Good Food Ireland’s 250 members at the K Club in Co Kildare yesterday.

Some 19 Cork establishments and food producers were nominated for the 2009 awards. Two prizes were won by Cork businesses.
