Green Party ‘all over the place’ on NAMA

Green Party leader and Environment Minister John Gormley said his party will seek further amendments for a “new improved NAMA” on top of changes made last week which his party claimed credit for. Mr Gormley said his party will seek a “social dividend” so community services and schools can benefit from some of the land assets taken over by the State.

Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny said the Green’s position on NAMA was “changing from hour to hour”. It was “deplorable” that a party, which is “simply all over the place”, was playing politics with such a vital issue, he said.
