Carroll gets leave to reapply for examiner

PROPERTY developer Liam Carroll has obtained a temporary reprieve from insolvency for his construction group after the High Court ruled it could reapply for examinership, despite a similar unsuccessful application earlier this month.

The court yesterday granted leave to seven companies controlled by Mr Carroll, which are part of Zoe Developments, to submit another application for examinership, which would allow them court protection from creditors.

The ruling gives Mr Carroll another opportunity to seek High Court approval for the appointment of an examinership and avoid the threat of the companies being placed into liquidation.
