DOZENS of pharmacists who shut up shop last week in the bitter row over the dispensing of drugs under the State schemes are expected to reopen for business today.

It is understood many have become increasingly worried about the impact the action is having on their businesses.

While the Irish Pharmacy Union (IPU) agreed on Saturday to make itself available to meet Health Minister Mary Harney, it has not recommended a resumption of services.
