NAMA valuers: Government seeks estate agents

THE Government is making final preparations to hire a host of estate agent valuers at home and abroad to help advise the forthcoming National Asset Management Agency.

NAMA will use the services of valuers for properties in Ireland, Europe and further afield as the state seeks to take control of the bad debts and assets of the banks.

Real estate valuers will begin work next month in a bid to estimate the current price of properties being targeted by NAMA.
