DPP file prepared after garda injured

A FILE is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) after a female garda was injured during a domestic dispute.

The incident occurred on the northside of Cork city when gardaí were called to deal with a domestic argument at a property in Knocknaheeny.

The female garda went inside the premises just after 6pm on Sunday and had to separate the two parties involved in the dispute.
