A Beautiful Day for 80,000 fans

IT was A Beautiful Day both in song and in weather in Dublin as 80,000 adoring U2 fans turned up to see the band deliver a hit-filled set.

Bono and Co are renowned for spectacular live shows and the Croke Park show proved to be no different. At 60m tall, the giant claw-shaped stage extended across a third of the pitch.

Unlike other venues around the world, fans only got to experience a 270 degree perspective with the Hill 16 end empty due to health and safety concerns.
