Flannery vows to keep hounding TDs

FINE GAEL’S ousted director of elections Frank Flannery has said his recent rebuke by the party leadership will not stop him being a “bad bastard” to TDs enjoying an easy life in opposition.

Enda Kenny stripped him of his director of elections role following the local elections after incendiary comments on the party’s willingness to enter coalition with Sinn Féin.

Mr Flannery is still Fine Gael’s director of organisation, but the parliamentary party demanded elected politicians call the shots at election time.
