FF refuses to comment on Ned O’Keeffe’s policy

FIANNA FÁIL has refused to comment on declarations by Cork East TD Ned O’Keeffe’s that he was not interested in helping constituents who didn’t vote for him.

According to the Oireachtas, TDs are supposed to “represent the entire electorate within their constituencies” and “provide an essential democratic link between constituents, Government and parliament”.

But Mr O’Keeffe told constituents fighting for a new school building that he wouldn’t assist them as they had not voted for him.
