VHI seeks 5% reduction in fees paid to GPs and consultants

VHI is seeking a 5% reduction in fees paid to consultants and GPs from today.

New contracts implementing the changes have been issued to doctors who will have to decide individually whether to accept the fee reduction.

The one-year agreement is part of VHI’s full cover scheme that has been in place for 20 years.
