Mother of missing teenager concerned authorities ‘have given up’

THE mother of a troubled Waterford teenager who has been missing from home for 14 days says she is concerned the authorities may “have given up” on helping her.

The 17-year-old girl reportedly has a problem with drugs and alcohol.

She ran away from home two weeks ago but her mother wants the gardaí and the HSE to make a more determined effort to help her daughter.
